The CSC Parents & Carers Club was started in 2024 by a friendly group of parents in co-operation with Principal Justin Hird and Assistant Principal Martin Meilimaka.
The Club aims to support families and create a stronger sense of community around the school through social events, practical help, providing feedback and fundraising.
Our aims
- Create a sense of community at the school, where parents feel connected to each other and to the school staff and leadership.
- Provide parents with opportunities to be informed about significant events and developments at the school
- Provide parents with a forum to discuss ideas and issues of concern relating to their children’s education.
- Represent parents’ views and concerns on significant issues to school leadership.
- Work closely with School Council and school leadership for the benefit of the school.
- Support the school in practical ways such as supporting school events and fundraising to benefit the school.

Join us!
All CSC parents and carers are welcome to be involved—from helping at events to joining the next committee. It’s up to you. We’d love to have your ideas on how to make the school even better.
We would love you to register as a member, which will allow you to vote at meetings (if an applicable issue arises), and to be elected to a committee role at the next AGM in 2025. Membership is free. Download the Registration Form here (add link) or pick one up at Reception.
The current committee is made up of the parents who started the group who will serve until the AGM in June 2025, when any registered Club member can be elected to the committee.
The committee meets monthly with the Principal and Assistant Principal prior to CSC School Council meetings. A member of School Council is invited to join the Parent Club committee to ensure there is co-operation and co-ordination between the two groups.
Keep in touch
We will keep the wider CSC community informed of our activities through a newsletter on Xuno and the school email for any special activities/events.
