Castlemaine Secondary College a vibrant community school offering a diverse curriculum that inspires, empowers and extends our 750 enthusiastic and motivated students.

The only secondary college in Mount Alexander Shire, our school caters to a diverse demographic valuing the arts, sport, engineering and the environment. The school values the local partnerships we have with many community organisations and embraces the culture of our area.

Our college values “Aspiration, Respect & Empathy” are what we strive for each and ever day.

We have completed a long building program and have wonderful new buildings set out accross the college. Our school has four precincts buildings designed around our learning areas: Engineers, Artisans, Performers & Wellbeing. Our state of the art library /admin area is in the centre of school.

Many of our current staff live within the community or commute from other central Victorian towns including Bendigo, Kyneton, Daylesford and Ballarat.  And Melbourne is a short 90 minutes away.
