Year 11 and 12 students are offered a diverse program that caters to individual learning styles and subject preferences. CSC supports each student to develop their skills and knowledge to give them the confidence to reach their potential, no matter what their post-school choices might be.
At CSC we offer:
- Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE)
- Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL)
- Vocational Education and Training (VET)
- Flexible Learning Options (FLO)
Learning
Students can tailor their learning to their preferred learning style, individual interests and goals. We offer a range of VCE and VET subjects, with most of these being taught in small groups to enable the best outcomes for all. For a list of all the subjects offered at CSC and a detailed explanation about each one, please read our Course Selection 2019 Handbook below.

Wellbeing
The Mentor system is the cornerstone of our Wellbeing program for all CSC students. We encourage every student to develop a supportive relationship with their Mentor teacher who then becomes their guide, confidante and ally at CSC. The Wellbeing program offers a range of incursions designed to give students the skills they need to better their interpersonal skills and a greater understanding of the world around them.
Co-curricular activities
We encourage every student to take part in one of the co-curricular activities we offer such as Book Clubs, Music Ensemble, Drama Production, Sport, Chess, Snow Day, Diversity Club and Meeting Place activities. These allow students to gain new skills and experiences in a more relaxed environment without the curriculum framework defining how, when and what is explored.
